Since the mid 1970\u2019s, Andrew Gold had been a successful musician, songwriter and producer. After releasing his third solo album in 1980 (and being the man responsible for writing the theme song for The Golden Girls), he didn\u2019t make another solo album for 16 years. When he finally made another album, it was a children\u2019s Halloween album. This is the story of Andrew Gold\u2019s Halloween Howls: Fun and Scary Music!, from 1996.
