Cooking with Jaye - Vegetable Beef Soup

Vegetable Beef Soup

  • 1lb of beef stew meat  
  • \n
  • Vegetables of your choice (at least 4-5 types)  
  • \n
  • One onion  
  • \n
  • 5 cloves of garlic  
  • \n
  • 2 bay leaves  
  • \n
  • 1 large bottle of V8 or Spicy V8 juice  
  • \n
  • 2 cups of beef broth  
  • \n

Fry up the stew meat until just browned  Wash and rough chop all the veggies and the garlic and onion  Put all of the ingredients in a slow cooker  Set to low and let it cook for 6-8 hours depending.  Add more beef broth or water if the liquid does not cover everything
