Rabbi Daniel Swartz, Spiritual Leader of Temple Hesed in Scranton, speaking about the history and traditions of Purim in connection with his original musical comedy/pastiche, "Shakespeare in Shushan" to be performed on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 6:30 pm, and admission is free. There will be a free Medieval Faire for children at 5:00 pm; a pasta dinner at 5:45 (RSVP at templehesed@comcast.net), and after the play, a free Purim cookie reception.
