Madeline Miller, best-selling author and teacher of the Classics, speaking about her recent novel "Circe" and the power of classical literature and myth, before she receives the Royden B. Davis, SJ, Distinguished Author Award from the University of Scranton's Friends of the Weinberg Memorial Library on Saturday, October 5, 2019, in the DeNaples Student Center, 900 Mulberry Street, in Scranton. There will be a book signing from 4:00 to 5:00 that is open to the public without charge, and a dinner reception at 5:00 and award presentation.
