Brandon Magnus: Facing Imposter Syndrome

Published: Feb. 12, 2021, 2 p.m.

EP 7:  Have you ever felt that you weren't good enough to belong in a perceived class; that maybe you're pulling a fast one on everyone with smoke and mirrors, or even worse, that you shouldn't even try to reach that level in the first place?  Imposter syndrome often seems like it comes with the territory of being a creative professional, and today I get to sit down with a photographer, Brandon Magnus (San Jose Sharks/SAP Center), to dive in on this issue.  What experiences has he dealt with as he's climbed to new levels of his career?  How has he dealt with his own self-doubt to combat these negative narratives?
