"Your ears will be all eyes!" says the website for Siegfried's Mechanisches Musikkabinett, and who are we to argue. \n\nOn October 17th 1969 Siegfried Wendel opened the first museum of mechanical musical instruments in Germany, and frankly once you're in there it must sound like a circus being rolled down a mountain. Listening back to this episode I found the tape very enjoyable, but in the scorching heat of Rich's kitchen it felt like I'd contracted a particularly virulent strain of rabies.
