EPISODE 164./

Happy freedom week Melbourne listeners!

We start this weeks episode with TWO gifts to bestow upon you. Firstly, how to make a DOC Mojito.. Secondly, how to preserve Basil on the bench as scientifically explored by Lisa. Thank you to everyone who DM'd us to let us know they enjoyed our Interview episode last week with Georgie!

First up in Beauty News, Diptyque is PISSED because a brand called Italics has said that burning a Diptyque candle smells like burning money... Secondly, Liberty Belle Xmas gift sets are heeeere, and speaking of Christmas, the most wonderful time of year has arrived along with Mecca Holiday Packaging. And we think, this could be their best year yet?! Estee Lalonde revealed to us this week the products that are launching her Mirror Water line. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, It's a body-product, bath focussed range, but we had hoped that it would be homewares! This week it was also announced that Makeup Forever is being stocked at The Iconic as part of their new (ish) Iconic Beauty range, It's a big move in the AUS beauty retail space, and we're curious about the future of beauty purchasing by Australian consumers as purchasing is going to become more fixed to price, and reward programs. Finally in beauty news, we've come full circle as Tik Tok-ers are using Lube as primer... again.

Thank you this week to Vush for supporting this weeks episode of the Podcast! You can explore their new Intimate Care range here: https://bit.ly/3B7zsST

To finish up this week's episode, we're finishing off with our beauty faves, non beauty faves and snacks.

Stay tuned later this week when we drop a bit of a Sunscreen show-down/refresher ep on sun care as we roll on into Summer and Mecca have launched Naked Sundays! If you enjoyed this weeks episode of the pod, please head over to Instagram @allbasescovered.pod or leave us a review :)
