Others heard about the desperate search for workers by hundreds of companies and decided to explore what seemed like easy options to advance or even change careers only to experience shift shock. We\u2019ve heard terms like \u201cquiet quitting\u201d, \u201cresenteeism\u201d, \u201cbare minimum Mondays\u201d, \u201cact your wage\u201d and \u201csheltering in place\u201d to describe simply tolerating a job in exchange for the paycheck.\xa0
